As a Go Home cottager for about 26 years, I am, by some measures, a newcomer. But it was love at first sight for me and over the years I have kayaked, paddled, sailed, windsurfed and rowed almost every inch around our common lands many times over and have hiked our trails in summer and winter. Well, mostly winter as I am still rather snake phobic despite all the years amongst our reptilian friends.
Retired now, my teaching career was long and varied. I have taught all elementary grades from 1-6 and then worked for 10 years teaching children with extreme behaviour challenges. I moved to be a resource for about 100 schools assisting them with their students with behaviour difficulties before becoming a vice principal of one of the largest elementary schools in Canada and then a school principal.
I spend most of the time between ice out and November here at the cottage.
I am happy to have the time to devote to scheduling and supporting existing activities, new ventures like camp, and all the other fun ideas we are able to dream up.

I am a lifelong Go Homer in all seasons having arrived by water from March through December, and by skis Dec through March!
